Metz, a son, Ernie Metz and wife Jane of Swanton, a daughter, Nancy Radcliffe of Keyser, WV, two brothers, Samuel A. Metz JR of Barton, Paul Metz of Baltimore, and a sister, Virginia Carol Spiker of Camp Hill, PA.  He is also survived by a granddaughter, Megan Pope and husband Billy of Keyser, WV, two great grandchildren, Tate Riggleman and Zane Pope, and numerous nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, onTuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.  The Barton Hose Company will hold a  memorial service at the Boal Chapel on Tuesday at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at Barton United Methodist Church on Wednesday at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Sandy Cowan and Rev. Dockery; three sons, James D. and his wife Christine A. of Pennsburg, Pa., Kenneth W. and his wife, Laura S. of Key West, Fla., and Terence M. of Camp Hill, Pa.; a sister, Mary Bergrud of Chicago; a brother, William Majerle of Stoughton, Wis.; and five grandchildren, Ryan, Abigail, Jacob, Joseph and Adam. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 2800 Paxton Church Road, Harrisburg, Pa., with the Rev. Daniel F. X. Powell as celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. to time of services  Thursday.
