Rudolph 'Bud' Ludvigson — Anoka

In his spare time, Bud enjoyed golfing, music, travel, dancing, playing cards and spending time with friends and family. Upon his retirement, Bud and Norma began wintering in Tucson, Ariz., and in 1995 relocated to Rochester, where she passed away on April 4, 2002. Bud continued to winter in Tucson, and met and married Tynne Gurske in 2004.Survivors include his wife, Tynne of Anoka; three daughters, Ann (George) Hiner of Nevada City, Calif., Karen (Jerry) Romness of Champlin and Peg Winters of Fargo, N.D.; two step-daughters, Janice (Wally) Love and Janet (Joe) Rosales, both of Tuscon, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Bud was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Norma, two brothers, three sisters and a grandson.Memorials to the donor's favorite charity are appreciated.Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place N.W., Rochester, MN 55901. Lake Holcombe and became active in the Lions Club, Lake Association, and Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Joseph is survived by: his wife of 58 years, Anne; two daughters Terri (Screven) Farmer of Tucson, Ariz., and Marilyn (John) Berg of Eau Claire; son Brent (Lynnette) Roshell, of Wyoming, Minn; his grandchildren, James, Joseph, and Jason Farmer, David and Heidi Smith, Zach Berg, and Jacob and Matthew Roshell. In addition, he leaves his brother Marvin (Bobbie) Roshell of Hot Springs, Ark. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Cornell, with Rev. Brahm Semmler-Smith officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date. Family and friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 20 at the Borton-Leiser Funeral Home in Cornell, and also one hour before the services Tuesday at the church. (The Chippewa Herald)

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Roger Ecklund. Visitation will be held Monday, Jan. 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home in Winona, with vigil prayers at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Winona, with the Rev. Rick Colletti officiating. There will be a one-hour visitation prior to the funeral service, with rosary at 9:30 a.m. Burial will take place at Gilbert Cemetery in Gilbert, Minn., on Wednesday, Feb. 1. K in the spring of 2012.He is survived by his former wife, Karen, of Lewistown; his children, Shannon Hertzog (Donnie Taylor) and Jody Hertzog (Bryan Tuss), all of Lewistown, John (Becky Masen) of Tucson, Ariz., Krissy Hertzog (Jarret Barlettano) of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Joel (Jessie Yuhas) of Seattle, Wash.; and seven grandchildren, John and Justin Dyba, Alex Potter, Anthony Masen, Serena and Alyssa Hertzog and Jacey Barlettano. Dave is also survived by his siblings, Dale (Anna Mae), Bruce (Carol), Mary (Roger) Fasching, Mel (Karen), Julie (Steve) Millerbernd, Frank, Charlie (Becky) and Matt (Denise), all of Minnesota and Wyoming; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Dave will be missed by all who knew him. He was an incredible person with an infectious laugh and was fiercely devoted to his family. He will be forever in our hearts. He was preceded in death by his parents. A funeral Mass will be offered Saturday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Minneiska, with Bishop John Quinn of the Diocese of Winona and the Rev. Thomas Melvin officiating. His body will be cremated after the funeral Mass. Casket bearers will be his nephews, Mike, John, Tony, Daniel, Ben and Lincoln Tibor. Honorary bearers will be his grandchildren, Kyle and Shane Kastenschmidt, Abigail Powell and Hunter Tibor. Interment of his cremains will be in St. Mary's Cemetery on Sunday. Family and friends may call at the church from 5 to 8 p.m. today, where there will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. and at the church on Saturday one hour before the service. After some time in Rochester, Minn., they finally made their home in Fort Dodge. Joyce is survived by her husband, Gene; three daughters, Zinda (Michael) Bartz of Tucson, Ariz., Zandra Kessler of Rochester, Darcy (Dr. Michael) Lee of Fort Dodge; one son, Gregory (Carol) Meisch of Franklin, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Bitzer of Martinez, Calif.; one brother, Lynn Mosiman of Michigan. She is preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Milder Mosiman. Joyce considered herself a gypsy and enjoyed traveling. She and Gene traveled to see their children and grandchildren across the U.S. and Canada. They also toured China and Europe, and cruised to Alaska, Australia and New Zealand. She was a beautiful seamstress and crafter. She could hardly get one project done before starting something new. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations either to the Marion Home Care Center or to St. Paul School in Fort Dodge, Iowa. (Winona Daily News)
