McDonald-Pugh (Mark) of Loveland, Clay McDonald (Kim) of Omaha, Neb., Cressa Brzezinski of Colorado Springs, and step-son Mike Brothers (Cathlynn) of Clyde, Texas; sisters, Sue Slebos (Chris) of Yuma, Ariz. and Charlotte Hudgens of Kalamoth Falls, Ore.; grandchildren, Will (Vanessa), Rochelle (Ben), Silas (Cathy), Rebekah, Sarah, Lea (Greg), Treava (Joe), Michelle, Laura, Matthew, and Ian; great-grandchildren, Alissa, Savannah, Ashley, Zoe, Julia, Bethany, Lily, Josalyn and Aiden; and her devoted dog, Tinker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kathryn Ross and Harold Eads; wonderful in-laws Tom and Thelma Haggard of Pampa, Texas; her brother, George Eads of Garden Grove, Calif.; and most recently her beloved granddaughter Taite Pugh of Loveland, Colo. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Diane Medgyesy and her staff and the folks of Pathways Hospice. A Memorial Gathering will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Resthaven Reception Center. Inurnment Houston National Cemetery. Dec. 30th at 1 p.m., a military service with full honors will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Staging area A. William Dean Murrow was born Oct. 21, 1935, in a sod house in rural Yuma County, Colorado to William and Lola the oldest of seven children. Since his grandmother was a teacher, and she instilled in him a lifelong interest in everything, he read the newspaper cover to cover everyday of his life until he died. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War, and following his discharge, attended the University of Northern Colorado. He lived formerly in Sterling, Colo., and has lived in Fort Collins permanently since 1973. Stronghurst, Ill.; Mrs. Robert Clarke, Stronghurst, Ill.; Mrs. Charles Pogue, Stronghurst, Ill.; William Harold Richey, Prairie City, Ill.; Mrs. John Balridge, Des Moines, Ia.; Thomas A. Richey, Yuma City, Ariz.;; and Mrs. Waldo Spruitt, Traverse City, Mich.? These with the husband, thirteen grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends mourn this deep loss.? All the children mentioned were in attendance at the funeral which was held on May 15th. Her whole life was spent in Henderson County near the place of her birth with the exception of three years they lived in Monmouth to give their children school advantages.? She was a woman of great energy and took an active part in public affairs in the community and in war work.? In her early life she confessed her faith in Christ and untied with the United Presbyterian Church of Walnut Grove, but when the congregation merged with that of Media, Ill., she transferred her membership to it in which connection she remained an active member, taking a leading part in the work of the church, especially of the Women?s Missionary Society in which she filled the office of president and treasurer, always holding an optimistic outlook for the work and was ready to back her words with deeds.? April 25, 1930 — Sept. 13, 2011 Glen Burdick, 81, passed away Sept. 13 at home in Yuma, Ariz., with his wife in attendance, after a very long battle with cancer. He was born in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Ira and Faye Burdick. Glen grew up in Arkansas with seven other siblings. On July 4, 1950, he joined the Army.
