Michael (Frieda) Tyler of Moore and Paul Tyler of Moore; daughter, Patty (Jim) Allen of Spokane, Wash.; daughter-in-law, Julie Tyler of Lodi, Calif.; brothers Al (Betty) Kraft of Helena and Paul Kraft of Kalispell; sister, Helen Jans of Kalispell; grandchildren, Tracy (Terry) Hodik, Todd (Jennifer) Tyler, Danielle (Dave) Carson, Charlie (Deanna) Tyler, Jess Tyler, Geena Tyler, Leah Tyler, Andrew Allen, Jamie (Andrew) Dolan, and Allie Allen; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.Ruth was loved by everyone and a true light of life for all who knew her. She had many memories of good times spent with loved ones and friends. She was very giving and will be deeply missed.Funeral Services for Ruth will be held Monday, June 25 at 1 p.m. at the Creel Funeral Home Chapel in Lewistown. Visitation will be held Monday from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery. He graduated in 1943 from Simms High School and joined the U.S. Navy, becoming a proud member of the SeaBees, serving in Tinian and Okinawa during World War II. She was a past member and served as president of Arkansas Delta Development (1984-1987) making many trips to Washington D.C. and New York City to secure the monies to fund the Helena Slack Water Harbor for future generations. Mary Louis also served as president of the Phillips County Historical Society and was a member of the board of trustees, now called Phillips County Community College Board of Visitors since associated with the University of Arkansas. She was an Arkansas Cancer Research Center UAMS Foundation Board member and Society of the Double Helix Foundation of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She was named 1981 Phillips County Citizen of the Year and received the Phillips County Bar Association Liberty Bell award in 1997. Mary Louise leaves her husband, V. Poindexter Fiser of the home; a stepdaughter, Kathy Grimes (George) of Bentonville; step-granddaughter, Ashley Brown (Cory) of Centerton; a step-grandson, Jason Fiser Grimes (Amy); and a step-great-grandson, Aiden Fiser Grimes of Fayetteville. She is also survived by cousins, A.B. Thompson of Marvell, Beth Thompson of Little Rock, Art and Kim Thompson and son, Henry of Tulsa, Okla., Sharon Holtzclaw Hay (Tommy) and son, Mark Sullivan of McCrory, Durwood and Debbie King of Helena and their daughter, Trish of Memphis. Her parents and her brother, William Demoret II who was killed in Austria the day before the end of WWII in 1945, preceded her in death. Grand Rapids, Mich.  He is also survived by son, William (Nicholas) Giambroni in Ashland, Ore., daughter, Elizabeth Meadows (David) Greenfield of Evanston, Ill, and son, Jonathan (Sharon) Drew of Helena.  Also surviving are step children: Lisa (Brian) Leven of Dallas, Texas, Jill (Jose) Torres in Vancouver, Wash., Murphy Doggett in Manassas, Va. and grandchildren Zoe Meadows Greenfield, Kate and Emily Leven, Alex and Grace Torres, Christine, Robbie and Katie Moore and Gianna Drew.His friends and students said Les was such a handsome man, intelligent and charming, never boring, never dull, so controversial, and so entertaining.  Les was known for his “dry” sense of humor.  When with Les, one never quite knew what to expect.  His private spider collection holds several thousand spiders, from rare, small, large, to common, (all dead, of course) and a vast collection of journals of arachnology.  Les also had a large library of over 1,000 books.  If he was here, he could tell you about them all.At his request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.Creel Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Delta Delta Delta Sorority.Betty married Neil Haight (Lewistown) on April 12, 1952. Her life with Neil took them from rural central Montana to New Mexico, then back to Lewistown and finally to Helena. They traveled throughout the United States and Canada in a fleet of self-customized vans, spent countless hours enjoying wildlife at Gates of the Mountains, and traveled to Hawaii, Europe and Chile. They shared a love of music, especially jazz, as well as Community Theater. They also shared a dedication to the Democratic Party, and she was a longtime member of the Montana Democratic Women’s Club.
