Donna Medley of Dallas, Cheryl Medley of Helena, Brenda (Greg) Huntsman of Katy, Texas; and two sons and daughter-in-laws, Carl (Linda) Medley of Searcy and Kenneth (Angela) Medley of Charlotte, N.C. along with nine grandchildren. She is also leaves a brother, L.C. Thomas of Detroit; five sisters-in-laws, and six brothers-in-law; a number of nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Latoria Scypion of Helena-West Helena; two sisters, Virgie Gant Phillips (Leon Jr.) of Lake View, Vera Gant Boss (William Jr.) of Pensacola, Fla.; a brother, Rev. William Cortelyous Gant (Debora) of Searcy; 25 grandchildren of which she reared David Lee Walker of Pensacola, Verbie June Walker (Marlon) of Helena-West Helena, Virgie Walker Thompson (Gary) and Vera Mae Walker, both of Arlington; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A wake and family hour will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16 at the Pettis Memorial CME Church at 121 S. Coanza in Helena-West Helena.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Pettis Memorial CME Church. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Cemetery near the Southland community.
