Bill McEwen: Beneath obits lie tales of positive effects on Valley life - Fresno Bee

Thu, Mar 22, 2012

"He always led by example," says Rob Saroyan, a friend of Mr. Peters. "He could've done whatever he wanted with his money. But he believed there are people who needed help and he wanted to build a bridge to them -- without expecting anything in return." The columnist can be reached at bmcewen@fresnobee.com or (559) 441-6632. Listen to his talk show daily at 4 p.m. on KYNO (AM 940). Follow him on Twitter: @fresnomac ...
