Manuia-Malakaua of Kona; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Manuia of Washington, Alice Franco of Kailua, Oahu, Jenny Awana of Schofield, Wisc., Harriet Mahoe of Waianae; brothers-in-law, Donald (Linda) Mahoe of Wailuku, Maui, Harry Mahoe of Waianae; 10 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary. Stephen Keoni Tagaca, 37, Kailua-Kona died Sept. 1 at the Kona Community Hospital. Born in Honokaa, he was an automotive mechanic and co-owner of No Limitz Auto Repair and was a participant of the Wee Guys Fishing Tournament, S. Tokunaga Ulua Challenge, Ohana Fishing Tournament, Hilo Casting Club Tournament and a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics. Friends may call at 5 p.m. Friday at St. James Episcopal Church in Waimea for a 7 p.m. wake service. Services to continue at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Columba Episcopal Church in Paauilo for a 9:30 a.m. funeral service. Burial to follow in the church's cemetery. Casual attire, flowers welcome. Survived by daughter, Stacia-Lynn Elia-Tagaca of Kailua-Kona; mother, Vicky Tagaca of Honokaa; brother, Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Tagaca of Ewa Beach, Oahu; sisters, Kathleen Tagaca and Cheryl Tagaca, both of Honolulu; one niece; and numerous cousins. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary. Marion Wilk Wansor, 84, of Kealakekua died Sept. 5 at Life Care Center of Kona. Born in Queens, N.Y., she was a business owner, artist, seamstress and member of various hula halau and was also a fashion and costume designer for numerous halau, theater and dance productions. Service at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Pukaana Congregational Church in Kealia. No flowers. Survived by daughters, Betsy (Rogers Naihe) Iona-Naihe of Captain Cook, Susan Young of Las Vegas; three grandsons, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Cremation Services of West Hawaii. Frederick Dean Woodby Sr., 74, of Keaau died Sept. 1 at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Rochester, Mich., he was a retired police officer for the Honolulu Police Department and a veteran of the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Private services held. Survived by daughters, Karen (Jaime) Maldonado of Ewa Beach, Sheri Sumalpong of Keaau; son, Frederick Woodby Jr. of Hawaiian Paradise Park; brother, William Woodby of Toledo, Ohio; sister, Audrey Deland of St. Clair, Mich.; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
