Jen-Jam, held north of Vandalia.Survivors include four brothers, Curtis Null and wife, Jean Knoxville, Iowa, Virgil Null and wife, Vickie, Davenport, Iowa, Jimmie Null and wife, Linda, Farber, and Joe Null, Vandalia; five sisters, Ruby Dean Chafen, Rush Hill, Neoma Beal and husband, Calvin, Rush Hill, Violet Wells, Knoxville, Iowa, Darlene Witt and husband, Steve, St. Charles and Daffany Hood and husband, Gary, Hallsville; and 19 nieces,12 nephews, and numerous great- and great-great nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, nephews, Vernon Leo Beal, Curtis Leo Null (Simon) and Glenn Austin Null (Toby), two great-nieces; Rebbecca Hood and Shyra Null.Through the grace of God and committed family members, Vernon was able to live at home and maintain his independence until the last six months of his life.

Survivors include her three children, Dr. Jeffrey Paul Featherstone (Nancy), Media, Pa., Scott Michael Featherstone (Leah), Davenport, Iowa, and Amy Jo Bublitz (Ron), Rochester, Minn.; and four grandchildren, Tate Featherstone (Amy), Ankeny, Iowa, Kiley Scorpil (Barrett) Davenport, Lin Featherstone, Media, and Lia Featherstone, Media. In addition, she has six great-grandchildren, Avery, Trey, Reese, and Drake Featherstone, all of Ankeny, and Ava and Sam Scorpil of Davenport. The family wishes to thank the staff at The Homestead Rochester, where Joan resided for the past three years, for their compassion and patience, and also a thank you to her friends who drove to Rochester to visit her and who sent her flowers every week. Funeral Mass will take place Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Winona, with Fr. James Berning presiding. Visitation will be held today, Jan. 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home in Winona as well as one hour prior to the funeral Mass in the visitation commons at the church. After returning to Chattanooga, Evelyn worked at Davenport Hosiery and Cutter Laboratories.Evelyn established Chattanoogas first retail floor coverings business, The Rug Mart, on Lee Highway in 1959 and later sold the business. Three years later she re-entered the floor coverings business under the name "Magic Carpets" in the same location. Mary K was a graduate of the registered nursing program at the Mercy School of Nursing, St. Ambrose College in Davenport, Iowa, and practiced her profession at both Northwestern and Michael Reese Hospitals, Chicago, and more recently for a brief time at St. Michael's Lutheran Home, Fountain City, Wis. Mary K married Robert McMahon in 1966 and moved to Winona in 1968 after her husband's two-year military assignment with the Medical Service Corps during the Vietnam war.
